Axial Flow Turbine is used in hydropower plants with low and middle water head commonly ranging from 3m to 30m. It can be divided into Propeller /Fix Blade Type (ZD) and Kaplan/ Movable Blade Type (ZZ), Propeller turbine is used in the power plant whose flow varies little. Kaplan turbine is used in the power plant with the flow varying much.
Processing process: The volute of axial flow turbine is generally concrete casting type, and steel volute is also used when the water head is higher. Concrete volute is directly poured into the underwater part of the large volume concrete into the workshop into the cochle-shaped cavity, section shape is generally "T" shape, steel volute section is circular. The runner chamber is divided into two parts: central ring and lower ring.
