China's Pelton turbine technology breakthrough
On June 7, 2023, the pelton hydropower unit with the largest single unit capacity in China completed the localization transformation and successfully connected to the grid for power generation. It marks the first domestically produced 150-megawatt-class large-scale impact runner independently developed by Dongfang Electric, with complete independent intellectual property rights of the entire industrial chain, and successfully realized engineering applications.
