In July 2023, our company was invited by customers to inspect valuable projects on site. Our general manager and engineer Mr. Zhang, and sales representative Mely, together with the translator Mr. Feng, arrived at the site on August 1. Conducted on-the-spot surveys of water resources and gave preliminary recommendations. This meeting promoted the cooperation between the two parties and reached a preliminary agreement on the development of the hydropower station.    

On June 7, 2023, the pelton hydropower unit with the largest single unit capacity in China completed the localization transformation and successfully connected to the grid for power generation. It marks the first domestically produced 150-megawatt-class large-scale impact runner independently developed by Dongfang Electric, with complete independent intellectual property rights of the entire industrial chain, and successfully realized engineering applications.

The first batch of units 1 and 14 put into operation at Baihetan Hydropower Station Achieve safe and stable operation for 100 days Up to now, 4 units have been put into operation for power generation Cumulative power generation exceeded 7 billion kWh   The Baihetan Hydropower Station has a total of 16 hydroelectric generating units with a single capacity of 1 million kilowatts independently designed and developed by my country on both sides of the bank, ranking first in the world in terms of single capacity. On June 28 this year, Baihetan Hydropower Station's left bank unit 1 and right bank unit 14 were successfully put into operation for power generation. As of October 6, the two units have been operating safely and stably for 100 days.
